Upload by users

Who : a simple user (not the administrator) of a site managed by PhpWebGallery

Purpose : sharing some pictures by uploading them on the site

According that the administrator has permitted users to upload on a specific category (thanks to Upload management instructions) that we will call upload » 2005 » 04-april. You must enter upload » 2005 » 04-april. Whatever the way : using menu or thumbnails representing sub-categories.

Once in upload » 2005 » 04-april, a new item in the left menu appears : Upload a picture.

Follow the link! PhpWebGallery will ask were to find the file on your local computer, some informations about you, a description, and so on... Eventually, you’ll be asked to optionnally upload a thumbnail associated to your pictures.

For security reasons, your uploaded pictures won’t be instantly available on public site : an administrator will first have to validate your upload.
