Whilst a web upload feature is available, PhpWebGallery cannot afford to easily upload 100s of pictures without having FTP Access. If this feature is a prerequisite for your gallery, PhpWebGallery may not be the best choice (the second? ). Some users have reported Menalto Gallery has this feature, but others should do it as well.
